Sedum adolphii, commonly called Golden Sedum or Golden Glow, is a vibrant Mexican species featuring thick, banana-shaped leaves that develop stunning golden-yellow to orange coloration in bright light and cooler temperatures. The succulent foliage grows in spiraling clusters along trailing or upright stems, creating dynamic movement. This fast-growing species is excellent for ground cover, hanging baskets, or mixed containers. White star-shaped flowers appear in clusters during spring. The intense golden color develops with sun stress and cool nights, while shaded plants remain lime green. Easy to propagate and very forgiving of occasional neglect.
